Week 9 (Bee Gee's Staying Alive and Red Text and the end)

 I have decided as mentioned to parody John Travolta's saturday night fever where he looks macho and cool in general in order to have Danny DeVito emit the same image, this can only be complete not only with the tilt shot but with the track "Staying Alive" by Bees Gees.

The red text that will appear at the end of the advertisement will read out "Old Spice" , its font will be of the style featured in the Saturday Night Fever opening, despite appearing towards the end the red color and same font should strengthen the connection between the iconic scene and Danny DeVito's parody so that people can make the connection between them easily



(In the advertisement's final shot the red font appears saying "Old Spice-" and under it in a smaller font "The Mark Of A Man")




the old spice writing should fade into the screen right after Danny DeVito leaves 

The text should fade in like the third word in the exemplar above but does not fade out instead the camera just cuts to black and stops rolling.

Post Production Editing

 This blog was taken from my teammate Angelo's blog as he was entirely responsible for editing https://angelo-regentsmedia.blogspot.com/2023/03/music-video-post-editing.html Music Video Editing First, before anything I imported the ‘Ghost Town’ Audio into Hitfilm ( My editing software ) I named it appropriately  I lowered down the volume to not make it too loud I started importing files we have on the drive By using the ‘import’ button at the top left corner, I imported the videos to Hitfilm I Edited the videos by cutting them into pieces ( By using the clipping tool )  and finding the best scenes to use for each part, Following the storyboard. I also used jump cuts on appropriate beats to show time leaping forward.  I experimented using the letter box in the music video, But It didn't sit right for me to use it so I removed it.  Done with the first few scenes, I imported the next videos for our next scene.
