Project Progress Week 8

 I had some scraped ideas where i wanted to prolong the advertisement , after Danny Devito reveals he uses old spice middle ages males would come out of a building labelled "Old Spice Shampoo" with equally flowing and beautiful hair , this would prolong the advertisement into 2 parts, that and Danny Devito's part which makes the message inefficient.

Other scrapped ideas include taking a scene from Babbel's Spanish advertisement where a girl rams a car through a wall to demand a guy to kiss her, i wanted to add this scene to allow men between 28-45 years old , Old Spice's main audience to feel confident of themselves especially after using old spice.

Post Production Editing

 This blog was taken from my teammate Angelo's blog as he was entirely responsible for editing https://angelo-regentsmedia.blogspot.com/2023/03/music-video-post-editing.html Music Video Editing First, before anything I imported the ‘Ghost Town’ Audio into Hitfilm ( My editing software ) I named it appropriately  I lowered down the volume to not make it too loud I started importing files we have on the drive By using the ‘import’ button at the top left corner, I imported the videos to Hitfilm I Edited the videos by cutting them into pieces ( By using the clipping tool )  and finding the best scenes to use for each part, Following the storyboard. I also used jump cuts on appropriate beats to show time leaping forward.  I experimented using the letter box in the music video, But It didn't sit right for me to use it so I removed it.  Done with the first few scenes, I imported the next videos for our next scene.
