Project Progress Week 7-8

 






After presenting the full draft and having it evaluated i decided to scrap the beginning scene which sets context for the advertisement and actually features the product as this would not fit with the Saturday Night Live reference where the tilt revealing Danny Devito is a mystery , the fact that he had long flowing hair should also be a thing that creates questions thus may not be explained at the first scene.

other scenes such as the "jock" (now referred to as Cool guy, no longer sporting a high school attire but leather jacket) scene was changed.

There is a plan to replace it with the jock confronting Devito about the hair and it cuts to an extreme close up of Danny;s eyes before zooming out to show him holding out Old Spice.

Post Production Editing

 This blog was taken from my teammate Angelo's blog as he was entirely responsible for editing https://angelo-regentsmedia.blogspot.com/2023/03/music-video-post-editing.html Music Video Editing First, before anything I imported the ‘Ghost Town’ Audio into Hitfilm ( My editing software ) I named it appropriately  I lowered down the volume to not make it too loud I started importing files we have on the drive By using the ‘import’ button at the top left corner, I imported the videos to Hitfilm I Edited the videos by cutting them into pieces ( By using the clipping tool )  and finding the best scenes to use for each part, Following the storyboard. I also used jump cuts on appropriate beats to show time leaping forward.  I experimented using the letter box in the music video, But It didn't sit right for me to use it so I removed it.  Done with the first few scenes, I imported the next videos for our next scene.
