How Do Media Companies Get Regulated

Image
One way that media companies are regulated are legal reasons which can bring them to self regulate in order to protect themselves and their reputation. During the 2020 Election Trump's legal team made of Rudy Guiliani and Sidney Powell claimed that election fraud was performed by the voting machine company "Dominion" by switching Trump to Biden votes, Sidney Powell appeared on news claiming that Dominion other than skewing election also belonged to the former Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. Sidney Powell and Rudy Guiliani failed to provide concrete evidence but still expressed the accusation especially on Fox whose news anchors also repeated that Dominion rigged the election, this brought Dominion to sue Fox for $1.6 Billion due to defamation leading to loss in trust and loss in business. When Fox News was brought to court with Dominion it is revealed that internal communications showed news anchors like Sean O'Hanitty and Tucker Carlson though that Sidney Powell wa

Post Modernism

Analyze The Key Characteristics Of Postmodernism Jean Baudrillard developed the theory of postmodernism where he claims everything is a copy of copy and that there are no fixed truths or rules,  he differentiated reality from heightened reality which is a text edited to create meaning from hyperreality which is a media product that is scripted, and simulacra which is a representation of something that actually does not exist but represent to be so. He claims people prefer to live in simulations. Postmodern media text can be classified as heightened reality or hyperreality where editing is used to create meaning or the text is scripted but made out to be real, an example is the 2020 movie "Borat Subsequent Movie Film" by 2 by 4 Studios which mixes heightened reality and hyperreality, the movie features a scripted character played by Sacha Baron Cohen interacting with people to catch their unscripted reactions which is edited and cut with commentary added over them at times.  P

This blog was taken from my teammate Angelo's blog as he was entirely responsible for editing https://angelo-regentsmedia.blogspot.com/2023/03/music-video-post-editing.html Music Video Editing First, before anything I imported the ‘Ghost Town’ Audio into Hitfilm ( My editing software ) I named it appropriately  I lowered down the volume to not make it too loud I started importing files we have on the drive By using the ‘import’ button at the top left corner, I imported the videos to Hitfilm I Edited the videos by cutting them into pieces ( By using the clipping tool )  and finding the best scenes to use for each part, Following the storyboard. I also used jump cuts on appropriate beats to show time leaping forward.  I experimented using the letter box in the music video, But It didn't sit right for me to use it so I removed it.  Done with the first few scenes, I imported the next videos for our next scene. Which was the football one.  Like before I edited the videos according
